Dialogue

This is a scene from Adhisaya Piravi (1990).

Mao-Mao, the protagonist with the black t-shirt and jeans, is fighting a wild gang from east India! Their leader is Banda-pundi, the guy with the afro and blue jacket hiding behind the houses! The little kid that is participating in the fight is Mao-Mao's little brother named Rajiv!

03: Banda-Pundi: Oh, no! He beat up all of our men! It's time for me to teach Mao-Mao a lesson!

Banda-Pundi runs into the fight and starts attacking Mao-Mao, but Mao-Mao blocks all of Banda-Pundi's weak attacks and starts using his Indonesian Hapkido techniques! Banda-Pundi takes a hard punch and he is sent flying to Rajiv! Rajiv puts his legs in the way and Banda-Pundi fells down and gets angry!

17: Banda-Pundi: Now you've done it you smelly kid! You are coming with me, and your brother can't help you now!

22: Rajiv: Help me Mao-Mao, help me!!

Mao-Mao ''Finishes'' the man who was with Banda-Pundi and his gang, and now he is going with anger and fury to take revenge for Rajiv's kidnapping!

35: Rajiv: Mao-Mao, quick, save me!

36: Mao-Mao: Give me the kid now, or else face my wrath!

37: Banda-Pundi: Oh no! I am so scared! What are you going to do Mao? You can't catch me up here on the tree! I am unstoppable!

Mao-Mao gets really angry with Banda-Pundi and he releases his power! He kicks the barrel off the floor and hits Banda-Pundi on the leg, making him drop Rajiv into Mao's hands!

50: Mao-Mao: OK now Banda-Pundi, your game is over!

51: Banda-Pundi: I'm never getting down from this tree Mao!

53:Mao to Rajiv: Al right brother, show him what you can do! Teach him a lesson!

Mao-Mao lifts the barrel up and Rajiv makes a hard bicycle kick, that sends it flying into Banda-Pundi's ''Family Jewels''! Banda-Pundi falls from the tree, and Mao-Mao teaches him a lesson he will never forget!

1:02: Banda-Pundi: I'm sorry Mao! I will never do it again! I will be a good boy!!

1:10: Rajiv: Come on Mao! Is that the best you can do? Show no mercy!!

1:13: Banda-Pundi: Aiou, my head!! Aiou my Hand!! Aiou my legs!! I will not fight with him ever again, I want to live!

Mr. Simm's great summer holiday!

It is the 13th of June, the last day of school before summer vacations begin. Mr. Simms is excited because he can go home early and get some sleep! He didn’t really make any plans for his summer vacations because he was too tired to think at that time and he said he was going to decide the next few days.

As soon as he got home from school, he wore his pajamas and went straight to bed. Just when he was going to fall asleep, his baby started crying, and so he woke up to check up on the baby and he lost his sleep.

The next week, he and his wife wanted to go on vacations to relax and enjoy their summer, and what a better place to go rather than Hawaii! So, Mr. Simms, packed up his luggage, got the tickets and he left with his wife and baby for their great vacations in Hawaii!
While they were on the plane for their long flight, MR. Simms was bored so he slept all the way to Hawaii. The flight was really long, approximately 15 hours and so Mr. Simms had enjoyed his sleep.

After they got out of the airport, they went to the hotel to drop their luggages and they spent their night there. The next morning MR Simms was full of energy and was ready to go to the beach to show his surfing skills! He took his wife and baby and they went to the clear and beautiful beach 1 hour away from their hotel room.
Just as soon as they got there, MR Simms got his surfing board which he had bought from the shop nearby and he started riding the waves! Everyone was amazed by his talent and the whole beach was crazy for MR Simms! Eventually, he got tired and so he went to the shore to take a nap.

Everything seemed to be perfect, but something terrible was going to happen! While MR Simms was enjoying his nap, all of a sudden the blue summer sky turned gray and full of clouds... a big tsunami was coming!!!

It was time for MR Simms to show his special powers! Humanity needed his help! He was awakened! He didn't think twice and he took his surfing board. Everyone was panicked, and some people were too tired to get out of the water before the tsunami reached them. MR Simms felt his pressure rising, he ordered all of the people that were on the beach to go far away quickly and he would stay there and rescue the innocent people. He kissed his wife and baby and told them to go to the hotel, he was going to risk his life, MR Simms was a hero!

The wave was visible now. It grew bigger and bigger. It was now or never for MR Simms. He dove right in the sea, and started fighting with the waves. He was on his surf board, and he was going directly to the people which they were screaming for help. He had to be quick. He took three of them and swam like the wind. The people ran away as soon as they got to the shore. There was one kid left and the wave was almost behind him. MR Simms released a surfing force that no one has ever done before and flew like a bullet on the waves.

He wasn't going to make it. He took the kid but the wave was 1 meter away from them. The only way to get out of there was to ride the huge wave!! He was holding the small child and he bended his knees like he never had before, he felt the board rising 5 meters high! He made it! He was on the wave!

That was the hard part. The wave was going to crash on the sand and MR Simms and the boy were going to break apart! MR Simms got ready for the big landing. 1 second before the wave crashed he jumped from his board and landed on the sand. MR Simms and the boy were fine. He made it!!

Everyone waited anxiously for MR Simms arrival, they didn't know if he made it. Finally, MR Simms came with the little boy and everyone sight at relief. He realized that he was too old for surfing and these things, but still humanity owes him a favour, but the only thing he wanted to do at that time was to sleep!

As soon as MR Simms got back to Cyprus, he spent his holidays watching after his family, watching TV, and relaxing. He realized that this was the good life, away from all the problems. Even thought he was proud of what he had done in Hawaii, when the school started and everyone was asking him what he did in the holidays, he didn't want to share his secret abilities, and so he just said that he stayed in Cyprus and enjoyed his holidays at home with his wife and baby!!

Music

Music plays a really important role in my life. When I listen to music I feel more relaxed and I chill off. Music makes me think more logical and relieves me from all the stress I might have.
My favourite type of music is mostly metal and hard rock. I prefer these types of music because when I listen to them, it's like charging my batteries! This music makes me feel stronger and powerful, and whenever I get mad or pissed off, I listen to some metal and I forget everything about it.
If I had to choose my favourite band, that would be Iron Maiden. I don't only like their songs, but I like their stage appearance as well. Some of their videos are amongst my favourite. Iron Maiden are more Heavy Metal rather than rock.
Iron Maiden started playing in 1975, and they are English. Their bassist, Steve Harris, formed the whole band and they have sold over 80 million albums worldwide. Steve Harris, and their guitarist Dave Murray, are the older members of the group. On 1978 they made their first demo and sold all five thousand copies!!
In 1999, Bayley left the band, but Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith, guitarist rejoined the band. My favourite song of theirs is Fear Of The Dark. They have done many concerts throughout their career but I think the best one was Rock IN Rio, which sold lots of DVDs. Their latest album was: A Matter Of Life And Death in 2006. Me and my guitar!!

Hello!! My name is pithikos and I like to go to school!! My favourite subject is English and I live on a small island. In my free time I like to play some guitar. It is my favorite hobby that I do almost every day for about an hour and I think that i'ts really unique. I've got two guitars, and three amplifiers. When I tap the strings I escape from my problems. My favorite type of music is mostly metal, but I also listen to hard rock. My favorite metal band is Judas Priest and I also like Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath! I've been playing guitar since I was 11. When I first started I had no idea how to play, but as the years past I had gotten pretty good at it. For me, this is a unique hobby and I find it really cool and enjoyable.
